HOMECARE AIDES (HHA)
Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Records patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following asepsis standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions, and following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards
OVERNIGHT CAREGIVERS
An overnight caregiver arrives at the clients home and remains alert in the home until morning. During the night, the overnight caregiver provides quality care, as needed, and monitors the clients to ensure they are safe and comfortable.
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANCE (CNA)
A CNA’s daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN in charge. You will need to maintain patient comfort and safety, as well as follow all departmental policies, procedures, environmental, and infection control standards.
